Arpeggio

Last night;

I was rehearsing arpeggio’s, a guitar-technique-thingy were you play as much strings per second as you can, so it sounds like a harp. But still you have to emphasize the right beat to make clear what kind of rythm you’re playing.

Suddenly;

i realized that it was one of those rare moments , that you are confronted with the fact that playing finger-picking style is much more convenient than a pick. It takes a lot of effort to play an arpeggio with a pick while, with trained fingers of the right hand, it is done in a jiffy.

Thank god;

I like going through the motion. I don’t hate studying, because if done properly you hear the result coming. If I did dislike this daily playing, I would never have overcome my right-hand problems with dystonia. Which in the end made me Imagicial.
